This serves as the main message/discussion list for Troop 49. We are a scout group located in the Brentwood Neighborhood in North Central Austin. We meet every Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 6600 Woodrow Avenue. We are a scout-led troop that strives to provide each scout with the opportunity to advance through scout ranks and earn merit badges. Our group camps at least 9 times each year, attends a weeklong summertime merit badge camp, and provides a high adventure excursion for older scouts. Our group believes in inclusivity and encourages personal growth through leadership opportunities, knowledge of practical skills, and service to our community.
